The Visual Telepathy Exercise

Discover Your Own Psychic Ability in Just Minutes

A man and woman looking into each other's eyes while sharing a glowing psychic connection

What if I told you that within just a few minutes you could personally experience a form of psychic phenomena?

Not by believing anything I say.

Not by joining a religion or learning to meditate.

Simply by performing an extraordinarily simple exercise with another person.

I developed this exercise more than fifty years ago and have performed it with more than a thousand people. The results are remarkably consistent. Nearly everyone experiences dramatic changes in visual perception accompanied by synchronized emotional responses that happen to both people at the same time.

You don’t have to accept my conclusions.

Just try the exercise.

First, Notice How Human Vision Works

Look around the room and notice how everything appears to be in clear focus—you don’t have tunnel vision or anything like that.

Now focus your eyes on any word near the top of this page and, without looking away from that word, say any word on a line near the bottom of this page.

If you didn’t look away from the first word, you will realize that at a comfortable reading distance, the area of clear perception is only an inch or so across.

If you look around the room again now, you will realize that the area of clear perception was probably only about one foot across.

The reason we don’t experience tunnel vision is that our subconscious mind continuously manufactures the impression of a complete visual image by referring to information it has gathered in the past.

The Visual Telepathy Exercise focuses on what we actually see instead of what we think we are supposed to see, giving us a glimpse of “the reality behind reality.”

The Exercise

Sit a comfortable distance from another person, about two or three feet apart.

One person looks into the other’s right eye while the other looks into the first person’s left eye—or vice versa. The important thing is that both people concentrate on the same side. You are not looking diagonally across the bridge of the nose.

With your thoughts quieted and one eye in clear focus, gradually expand your area of clear perception to include the other person’s entire face.

Concentration is important, but effort is not. Remain relaxed. Blink whenever your eyes need wetting.

Pay attention to everything you see and feel, and describe those perceptions to each other as they occur.

That is all there is to the exercise.

What Happens

Within a minute or two you will begin noticing changes in your visual perception.

The other person’s face may become blurry, darker or lighter, or otherwise begin to look different. As you continue the exercise, the changes often become remarkably dramatic, even hallucinatory. The subconscious mind is trying to generate a coherent image from the distorted information.

If the image appears unpleasant, simply blink or look away for a moment and normal vision will return.

As these visual changes occur, you and your partner will compare when the changes occur and how intense they are at any given moment.

The changes happen to both of you at the same time and with the same level of constantly varying intensity.

The visual changes do not happen independently to each person. “Something” is connecting the subjective awareness of both participants, and that “something” is telepathy.

This synchronization is the real significance of the exercise.

Emotional reactions to the visual changes produce fluctuations in the skin capacitance of both participants. When galvanic skin response is monitored, the curves from both participants match. This is scientific proof that something—telepathy—is connecting the subjective experiences of the two participants.

People who perform this exercise for extended periods, up to thirty minutes or more, often report seeing very clear images of “other people.” They may even have hats, beards, glasses, period clothing, and other distinctive features.

It may be that the subconscious mind is simply manufacturing these images, but participants report that these “new people” seem perfectly real. This indicates the possibility that you could be seeing how the other person looked in a different incarnation, but that may not be the case.

If you would like to know how I discovered this phenomenon and why I became convinced telepathy is real, the complete story appears in my book, Rational Spirituality.
