Koda’s Music
My music ranges from spacey, psychedelic head trips, acoustic ballads and instrumentals, to high-energy, often silly rock. The free sampler includes selections from the different kinds of music I have recorded over the years.
Psychic Trance Fur
I didn’t start playing guitar till I was 20, then I spent the next 26 years being totally dedicated to my career as a songwriter and recording artist, which never materialized. I believed that if the music was good, people would buy it, but they have to hear it first and I suck at self-promotion. I wanted to write truly original music, so I paid no attention to genre.
I was in a number of failed bands that never played live, but the most serious band effort was my duo with Darren Weight, which lasted for seven years. We created all kinds of different music, but when he left for a lucrative job as a DJ and nightclub manager, I collected our spacey stuff and released the Head CD under the name Psychic Trance Fur. I have since released similar songs under that name.
Koda
I released an album of acoustic demos called The Early Years by Koda. The songs, performed with acoustic guitar, are heartfelt and often melancholy or sad, but some are simply beautiful.
Huh?
An album of fun, often silly, mostly rock songs was released as What the... Huh? under the band name Huh? I don’t claim that the material is all that great, but it was fun to play and can be good if you are in the mood for it. The album is available on both Spotify and Apple Music.
